Just wanted to let you all know that Sunnyside are taking part in a couple of events in the next few weeks.

This weekend at the Box Moor Trusts Autumn Festival, both days. Sunnyside homemade produce, bottles of fresh apple juice and perennial plants grown at the Hemel Food Garden plant nursery. Do pop over and say hello.

Saturday 11.00 to 3pm

Sunday 12.00 to 3pm

Then the following weekend all 3 sites are taking part in the Dacorum Fun Festival.

Dacorum ‘Fun Palaces’ – Sunnyside Rural Trust

Free activities are taking place at Hemel Food Garden Saturday 10 to 2pm > plant a bottle.

At Northchurch Saturday 10 to 2pm > nature crafts & apple pressing plus lots more (use the link for more info).

At The Hub Sunday 10 to 12 noon > welly or boot planting.

BRE Group volunteers were back for a third visit to the Activity Centre and completed the laying of new mypex in the fruit area – what a beautiful job! Thank you to them all!

The gorgeous sunflowers are still flowering and being picked for the AC mess room this time.

A team from Northchurch started work on a new contract, clearing and tidying allotments in Aldbury. The team got stuck in and used their skills to make some great inroads.

 

Well done all. Paul, Gillian, Charli, Michel and Taylor on the first day. Local donkeys watched on!
