Trainees

At Sunnyside, we operate across different locations in Dacorum, supporting over 170 trainees in an inclusive environment. Our diverse range of activities includes horticulture, animal care, hospitality training, and community contracts.

We warmly invite new people to join our Sunnyside community. While starting somewhere new can feel a bit strange, we are here to ensure you feel welcomed and help you adjust.

Before you start, we will help you understand what we do and what our daily routine as a trainee looks like. You can find a copy of the trainee handbook here, which you can review on your own or with your parent/guardian/carer.

If you’re interested in arranging a tour of one or more of our sites, you or your parent/guardian/carer can assist by completing our referral form. This is where we you can add your personal details, so we can understand a bit about what you are looking for, and what support you may need when you are at Sunnyside. You can also add here what days of the week you may be interested in.
