Veg box scheme & produce

Are you looking for a fresh, seasonal and local veg box?

At Sunnyside Rural Trust we offer customised veg boxes* (from April-Oct), with the produce lovingly grown and harvested by our own trainees.

We support people with learning disabilities to acquire skills in a number of rural activities such as making jam, chutney and apple juice from the fruit and vegetables we grow. Plus growing a wide range of plants, beekeeping, looking after chickens, landscaping and garden maintenance. While our beekeepers process honey on site and our happy hens lay healthy eggs – all of which are sold in our farm shops and market stall by trainees.

To sign up for our weekly veg box scheme, please subscribe here or email vegbox@sunnysideruraltrust.org.uk

When you sign up, we send you a list of what’s in season every week, all you need to do is reply with what you’d like. Then our Northchurch team will simply box your veggies up for you to collect.

Veg box collection is from our Northchurch site Farm Shop from Wednesday afternoon, or from our Hemel Food Garden site on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. We also offer collection from our weekly Berkhamsted High Street market stall (Thursdays 10:30–12:30).
