Head of Transport
Based at Northchurch, Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead

Sunnyside Rural Trust is a registered charity who has developed an innovative model of care-based support that offers training and work experience to adults with Learning Disabilities, within social enterprise and horticultural settings. Across our services we grow a range of produce and plants that include bedding plant contracts for local councils and perennial plants for garden designers. We also have Farm shop cafés and provide therapeutic services that include caring for animals.

Salary is dependent upon skills & experience and within SRT salary band.

£30,000-£40,000 p.a full-time position (job share considered)

To facilitate a growing transport round and to maintain our sites to a high standard SRT now requires an experienced Transport and Estates Manager to take responsibility for the smooth running of all vehicles and sites.  If you are seeking a demanding, but rewarding, role in transport management as well as building estate management and have the necessary knowledge, experience and leadership skills, we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have relevant maintenance experience and skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, an open & positive working manner and enjoy working as part of a team. You will need a background in a trade and excellent IT skills.
