Join the Sunnyside family as a volunteer and give a helping hand. 
Sunnyside Rural Trust is an exciting place to volunteer and we are always looking for people to give a helping hand in our charity. You will be helping to support trainees with learning disabilities, to learn new skills and get valuable work experience in horticulture and our other support activities.
As one of our fantastic, regular volunteers you will be using your skills, experience and knowledge in a variety of areas which could include gardening, horticultural projects, woodworking, craft activities, baking and making preserves, helping with fundraising activities and events or working in our farm shops and café.
As a thriving charity, we look forwards and excitingly there are always new ideas and projects being looked at.
Primarily based on horticultural work we work with the rhythms of the year and relish the seasonal repetition that this brings, offering benefit to the local community and environment.
Our current volunteers come from all walks of life. We have sixth formers who want to gain invaluable work experience, people who are unemployed or between jobs who want to keep busy and gain useful skills, part-time workers who want to give something back to the community and people who have retired but enjoy the company and have many skills to offer.
