Click&Collect Perennial Plants

We have some great news – you can now buy a select range of perennial plants online and collect from our Hemel Food Garden plant nursery later in the week.

We sell our plants to support our charitable activities, helping adults with learning disabilities who come to Sunnyside and experience the therapeutic help of working with horticulture & nature.

Sunnyside is a registered charity and not for profit so 100% of all income from social enterprise is invested on the care of vulnerable young people and adults in the local community.

Our plants…….

Many of the plants are drought-tolerant, are plants for pollinators and have been grown in the UK from seed. We grow peat free. Join us in protecting our environment by making green choices and choosing peat free options,

Our perennial plants have featured in acclaimed landscape architect, Tom Stuart-Smith, exhibition garden at Hampton Court Place Garden Festival. They are now happily growing at RHS Wisley. Our unique creative growing environment enables us to produce strong climate resistant perennial plants. Growing perennial plants helps provide a sustainable source of income for our charity. Enabling us to offer vital training and employment opportunities for vulnerable young people and adults, with the additional therapeutic benefit of horticulture.

” Seeing the difference that Sunnyside Rural Trust makes, it is so obvious to me that every community should have a place like this at its heart, where nurturing people and nurturing a place come together” – Landscape Designer Tom Stuart-Smith
