A short week this week but plenty going on at all the sites.

Caroline was at the Activity Centre checking in on the African snails and sprucing up their tank with greenery.

Michael & Becca deadheading and watering the planters in Bovingdon.

Lewis, Noreen & Luka helping to litter in pick in Bovingdon.

Already for the rush at the market stall in Berkhamsted yesterday.

Selling Sunnyside freshly harvested produce, homemade lines and plants. Plus our eggs. A great selection.

The orange pumpkins are nearly ready at Northchurch.

The grass left over from the hay meadow was cut and used as mulch over the sweetcorn and courgettes.

And the jumbo pink banana squashes are living up to their name. The biggest so far this year. Hollie working out with this one.

Hollie, Ellie and volunteer Tina picking the beans for vegboxes and for sale in the farm shops and market.

The plum harvest is being processed by the team at Northchurch.

The Hemel team were out in the Old Town litter picking – Yousef, Sam & Alfie. Great clear up.

Great work from Sean & Marc at Chipperfield allotments. Mowing the paths and car parks and clearing and rotavating allotments – a big job!

Over at Berkhamsted School clearing paths,  and steps of rampaging ivy.

Hemel Food Garden aid a visit back to RHS Wisley gardens yesterday.

 

Catching up on the plants that were planted out from the Hampton Court Garden last year. Everyone was enjoying the surroundings and beauty – the plants are there and doing well!
