The Northchurch litter picking team in………………… Northchurch
Lots of different coloured tomatoes for the harvest this week 9kg in total – they have loved the hot weather and are soooo sweet. There was also lots of chard and spinach for the veg boxes.
The sheep love eating apples so they have to be harvested carefully and kept an eye on.
Cheeky cats relaxing whilst Sam is still on holiday. He’s back soon!

Back for more – the Thursday yoga group back in action at Hemel Food Garden.
Blue team out for the first of the blackberry picking around the Hemel Food Garden site – maybe their fingers became a darker colour match to their tops?
Mike and the team were working on the honey extraction from our hives this week in the bakery space. Look at the beautiful golden colour.

HFG said their farewells to Adam who has now left to do his internship at a coffee shop in Chorleywood 5 days a week! Good luck Adam and thanks for all your help over the last 4 years. It was a pleasure working with you.
And also goodbye to Nick who’s been at Sunnyside longer than all of the project workers – 9 years. We had an afternoon of celebration with music, dancing, and dart throwing. Good luck Nick in your future adventures in Cornwall.
