Finance Assistant – Part Time

Based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire  

Sunnyside Rural Trust is a registered charity offering horticultural training and employment opportunities to young people and adults with learning disabilities.   

We have a number of social enterprises where trainees can gain work experience and paid employment. Across our services we grow a range of fruit, vegetables, herbs, plants including a large number of bedding plants for Dacorum Borough Council, coppice wood, conservation projects and we have 2 farm shops.

The Finance Assistant will work individually and collectively with other staff to promote a constructive, fair and sensitive approach to working with others from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.  A growth mindset is important, we are a fast-growing charity, and there is always something that you can do more efficiently! 

This is a part time position, 21 hours per week between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.  Flexible hours can be negotiated.  We would consider term time for the right candidate.  

Salary is £25,000 pro rata, we also offer a range of attractive staff benefits including NOW company pension.
