Sunnyside Rural Trust celebrated its 20th year Anniversary in September with an outdoor event for all the service users, their carers, staff and supporters. We very much wanted to show our appreciation to everyone involved in making the Trust what it is today.
Mayor of Berkhamsted, Julie Laws gave a lovely speech and cut the incredible celebration cake, see our gallery of photos! We will like to thank her and the team at Berkhamsted Town Council for their continued support.
The event was brought to life with amazing live music from the talented Laura-Jane Campbell and her DJ Joel Breeze. We all enjoyed a wonderful organic BBQ supplied and cooked on the day by UKs award winning EASTWOODS Butchers. Thank you to Joe and his team! Rhys Madoc, Chair of the Board of Trustees played auctioneer for the afternoon. We raised almost £500 auctioning items including a flat screen TV, Wine and champagne and dinner vouchers at exclusive restaurants in the local area. This was made possible by the incredibly generous support of individual and local businesses.
Sunnyside Rural Trust would like to thank the following local businesses for their kind donations:
